Preface
This news site has a goal: to give the news simple, to the point, with all the relevant facts in a just a few sentences; if there is an important announcement, we only provide the words of that person. We want no spin and this doesn’t just mean left or right. We try to provide non-filler/non-BS news; if we do our job correctly you won’t see news stories about balloon boys over important governmental announcements or terrorist attacks in other counties.

One thing every reader must remember is that there is always conflict in the world. Someone somewhere is dying and there is always a threat of war. Unlike major news networks, who in our opinion seem to only report select news stories for maximum effect, we try to report all relevant news in the country (US) and in the world.

With this report we are doing something new, we are trying to provide more than just the relevant facts for a news story. This is not meant to replace our foundation of simple to the point news; it is meant to be a supplement of what each author feels is an important topic. This current topic seems to be under reported including what repercussions may occur. Opinion or investigative topics are and will be clearly labeled.

Anything in these articles can be construed as opinion or speculation; it is not that we are simply making things up, but as an internet journalist we can only find information and do our research. We are forming our opinion based information we have gathered, we encourage you not to simply agree with our opinion, but do your own research and come to your own conclusion. If you do find anything more on the written about subject please let us know as we are genuinely interested in the topics. Now onto the article.

Facts
On Sunday October 18th, a man blew himself up killing 42 other people in Iran. One of the people killed was a prominent Republican Guard member, General Noor Ali Shooshtari.

Claims
1) God’s Soldiers (Jundallah) has reportedly taken responsibility for the attack and Iran’s news organization Presstv.ir is also saying Abdolvahed Mohammadizadehhad was the bomber.
2) Iran has also claimed that he recently went to Pakistan to receive training and support.

3) Iran claims that Jundallah is a terrorist group supported/sponsored by the United States and/or Britain.

4) Ex-CIA field officer Robert Baer: “American intelligence has also had contact with Jundullah. But that contact, as Iran almost certainly knows, was confined to intelligence-gathering on the country,” from Time.com

5) The reported leader of Jundallah is Abdulmalek Rigi
6) Abdulmalek Rigi’s brother Abdulhamid Rigi, who is in Iranian control said to Presstv.ir in a video interview:

“In Pakistan, Malek [Abdolmalek Rigi] contacted an individual that resided in the US who then put him through to the FBI. So, Malek said that he would go to Islamabad and meet with the Americans.

A few days after he returned from his first meeting, we asked him about it. God knows what really passed, but according to what he told us, he said he met with the Americans. As Malik was involved with al-Qaeda and the Americans knew about it, they had questioned him about it.

Malik had told them that since 2002 he had no links with al-Qaeda any more. He said he had told them that he is only against Iran and only fights against Iran. He said that he had asked the American for financial support and they had replied by asking him to meet with them again.”

7) According to ABC’s report, US officials have claimed to support Jundallah financially:

“U.S. officials say the U.S. relationship with Jundullah is arranged so that the U.S. provides no funding to the group, which would require an official presidential order or “finding” as well as congressional oversight.

Tribal sources tell ABC News that money for Jundullah is funneled to its youthful leader, Abd el Malik Regi, through Iranian exiles who have connections with European and Gulf states.”

8) Jundallah has reportedly captured Iranian intelligence officers and executed (some by decapitation) on video.

Interpretation
This bombing is Iran is one among many others and a long string of terrorist or guerrilla warfare attacks on Iran’s government or Iran’s people. What makes this attack important in this authors opinion is the continuing evidence that the United States is supporting an individual whose actions are defined by the US as a terrorist.

When starting this investigation it seemed at first that Iran is just claiming US involvement because the US is the big bad bully in that region of the world. The scapegoat for all the evils. But looking deeper into the subject it appears as though the US does in fact have connection with God’s Soldiers.

If the US does not have a connection with Jundallah, it appears the US wants it to appear as though they do. Perhaps the US really doesn’t have any covert connection with Jundallah, but publicly pretend secret support to cover who is actually supporting Jundallah. It is always possible that the US is just thumbing their noses at the Iranian intelligence community, making them feel the US is everywhere.

Who could US be covering for? Most certainly they could be covering for any NATO ally such as the Brits, but what about another ally in the Middle East? Israel? Mossad is most certainly capable of funding and assisting such a terrorist group all the while making it appear as if another is responsible. Israeli intelligence has already been caught several times infiltrating the US government and there is always the classic US “jew controlled media” that many try to claim. While this author doesn’t feel the entire media is under the thumb of any single world government; it is not a stretch to imagine that every intelligence agency infiltrates major news networks.

Where does this lead? This author’s concern is further pressure on Iran could cause it to retaliate. Iran already had a serious problem last election and is still under pressure from the global community on nuclear weapons. Iran most certainly has to feel that Israel could launch an attack any minute and would have the likely backing of the entire US military. Myself and others have felt that Iran may in fact attack first – a preemptive strike – or at least a response to another smaller attack. We have been watching the news for any flag or false flag attack that Iran could use as casus belli in a preemptive attack against our forces in the region. Do not forget that US military planners expect to lose 75% naval forces in the Persian Gulf, including an Aircraft carrier – or two – should US and Iran ever be at war. How? Coordinated launch of all surface to ship missiles overwhelming the defenses.

Yet, we may see Iran respond before an all out regional conflict. Iran has promised a response for the attacks on it’s people. If Iran see’s the US behind the attacks, does that mean Iran will be attacking the US in a similar fashion? Tit for tat? We bomb kill some people; they retaliate and do the same?

Iran has always been a highly suspected supporter of Hezbollah in Lebanon against Israel and there were plenty of militias and terrorists in Iraq (after invasion) that had training or support from Iran as well. US intelligence has reported many times that Iran have had sleeper cells inside the US for years. If conflict with Israel and US is on the horizon and if Iran wants to show it is serious; could one of these sleeper cells be activated for reprisal in the US?

It is probably not a coincidence that there have been many terror suspect arrests over the past few months. Could it be that the US government has been monitoring all these individuals for some time and the government cashes them all in at the same time in order to send a subtle message to Iran that our law enforcement has improved finding these individuals and this could discourage an attack?

The problem with this scenario is that the majority of these arrests look like “home-grown” (suspected) terrorists baited by the FBI with support. If there is anything learned from fighting guerrilla wars in Lebanon and Iraq is how to properly support it’s own agents; they will already have connections for weapons, tactics, and everything else they would need. What could we see?

Many of the contributors who talk on the Speak Freely Ventrilo chat server, feel that a Mumbai style attack could be very likely, should a terror attack occur. Probably in a state where firearms are harder to come by or where open and concealed carry is not allowed by citizens, as any attack in a heavily armed state could fail miserably.

The location would most likely be a “soft” target where crime is not likely to occur, like an uptown shopping center – again where resistance is only the police not armed citizens. The attackers wouldn’t attack gang controlled area in Oakland nor in the rural Midwest where individuals to not rely on police for personal protection.

//-->

Conclusion
It appears as though trouble with Iran is coming to a head. International pressure about nuclear weapons, internal problems stemming from the botched election, and terrorists bombings could cause Iran to fold and collapse. Or it could back it into a corner like a wild animal. Iran is not a wild animal, it is a calculating nation that will do what it’s best interest, but attacking may eventually be in it’s own best interest.

Should conflict ever occur with any country all Iran has to do is destroy any Navy, bunker down, and attack oil targets in the region. $500 per barrel light crude will bring any modern nation to it’s knees. The Mahdi could destroy it all, but if the spice must flow, what concessions will be made to Paul of House Atreides?

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – A confidential analysis by staff of the U.N. nuclear watchdog has concluded that Iran has acquired “sufficient information to be able to design and produce” an atom bomb, The New York Times reported on Saturday.

The Times report was posted on its website hours after Mohamed ElBaradei, head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, arrived in Tehran for talks on a timetable for inspectors to visit a newly disclosed unfinished nuclear enrichment plant.

This was one of three major developments at a meeting in Geneva between Iran and world powers over Iran’s nuclear program, and Solana said the meeting “represented the start of what we hope will be an intensive process.”

“I and all the representatives of the six countries were united in underlining the importance of fully transparency and of rebuilding confidence through practical steps. In the course of the day, we had both plenary meetings and bilateral discussions allowing for detailed exchanges on all issues,” Solana said.

The meeting occurred on the heels of the recent revelation that Iran was building a second uranium enrichment facility near the city of Qom, a dramatic development that jacked up tension between Iran and international powers.

International powers want inspectors to have unfettered access to Iran’s new facility and have threatened more sanctions if the Islamic republic doesn’t change its ways.

At a news conference Thursday after the talks, Solana said International Atomic Energy Agency experts are expected to visit the facility near Qom “within the next couple of weeks.”

IAEA spokesman Gill Tudor said Director General Mohamed ElBaradei “has been invited to Tehran by Iranian authorities. He will travel there soon to discuss a number of matters.”

Solana confirmed that world powers and Iran will hold another round of talks before the end of the month, but it is not known where or exactly when.

“An agenda for that meeting will be worked out through diplomatic channels. It will focus on nuclear issues, including proposals previously put forward by both sides. It will also deal with global issues that any of the parties wish to address,” Solana said.

Solana also said world powers and Iran agreed “that low-enriched uranium produced in Iran would be transported to third countries for further enrichment and fabrication into fuel assembles for the Tehran research reactor, which produces isotopes for medical applications.”

Saeed Jalili, Iran’s chief nuclear negotiator, spoke at a separate news conference. He called the discussions “good” and said that it is necessary for all nations and all states to have access to peaceful nuclear energy but that no country should have the nuclear bomb.

He noted that the parties hope to reach a framework for future talks, and he said Iran would cooperate with the International Atomic Energy Agency.

Iran participated in the talks along with the EU, Germany and the five permanent members of the U.N. Security Council: the United States, Britain, France, Russia and China.

Top officials from the United States and Iran huddled on the margins of the Geneva talks on Iran’s nuclear program.

Jalili met with William J. Burns, the U.S. undersecretary of state for political affairs who was leading the U.S. delegation, a senior U.S. official and a diplomatic source confirmed.

The men discussed the nuclear program, a sit-down described as the first face-to-face meeting over the Iran’s nuclear program.

The diplomatic source, who characterized the meeting as “serious and frank,” said world powers are pushing for a date for International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors to examine the recently revealed nuclear facility in Qom.

They also discussed human rights issues, including detained Americans in Iran. Among those held in Iranian custody are three hikers who strayed from Iraqi territory into Iran.

The sources would talk only on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitive nature of the ongoing discussions with Iran.

“They certainly are historical talks,” said David Albright, president of the Institute for Science and International Security and a former weapons inspector. “For the United States and Iran to sit down finally and start to talk about the significant differences between the two countries is extremely important, and I think it’s long overdue.”

The mood at the event’s buffet-style lunch seemed to belie the stark international tensions over the Iranian nuclear issue. Iranians and the other officials dined and mingled, and some ate while seated, and others stood at tables, an official at the talks said.

Many gathered in the villa’s backyard and enjoyed a view of Lake Geneva and the Swiss Alps, the official said. Along with the U.S. and Iranian officials, many other would huddle together, quietly discussing issues in sidebar conversations, the official said.

The existence of the second uranium enrichment facility prompted President Obama and the leaders of Britain and France to publicly chide the Islamic republic last week at the G-20 summit in Pittsburgh and threaten further sanctions.

Iran claims that its nuclear program is intended for peaceful purposes, but many in the international community have accused the country of trying to develop a nuclear weapons capability.
